Miracle Achodo is an author, architect, entrepreneur, educator, illustrator, and designer passionate about building meaningful experiences through creativity, storytelling, and purposeful design.
From a young age, creativity has been at the centre of her life. Miracle began drawing at just three years old after being taught by her mother, and art quickly became both a passion and a place of peace. Over the years, that creative foundation evolved into a multifaceted career spanning architecture, fashion design, education, entrepreneurship, and book publishing.
Professionally trained in architecture, Miracle combines artistic vision with structure, functionality, and thoughtful storytelling in everything she creates. Her love for design also led her into the bridal industry, where she became known for creating elegant custom wedding dresses through her brand, Miraclegael Haus.
Her work as a wedding dress designer earned national recognition in Nigeria, including a feature on Channels Television in 2019 as one of the country’s top wedding dress designers at the time. She was also involved in creating wedding dresses featured in major Nollywood productions.
Today, Miracle runs different businesses and creative ventures while continuing to pursue her passion for education and family-centred impact. She teaches part-time at Fanshawe College in London, Ontario, where she shares her professional and creative knowledge with students. She's also running an MBA program at Carleton University. She incorporates useful lessons from business and financial things she has learned in her books. She also organizes free community skill acquisition events in collaboration with her church .
As a mother of two daughters and wife to her best friend and greatest supporter, Bismark, Miracle is deeply inspired by family life and the desire to raise confident, wise, and purpose-driven individuals.
That inspiration led to the creation of Kassie and the Four Jars, a children’s book she both wrote and illustrated herself. Through the Little Wealth Builders series, she is helping families introduce children to healthy money habits, confidence, generosity, and responsibility in engaging and meaningful ways.
Whether designing spaces, illustrating stories, creating gowns, teaching students, or building brands, Miracle’s work is united by one core belief:
Creativity should inspire, empower, and leave a lasting impact.
